The MBA General Management program equips students from all professions with the right tools to excel further in their careers. It is designed to give its participants an excellent knowledge base in General Management plus two elective courses (one in Flex-Term 2 and one in Flex-Term 3). Choices are:

  • Flex-Term 2: "Social Entrepreneurship" or "Global Supply Chain Management"
  • Flex-Term 3: "Management in Emerging Markets" or "Digital Business Transformation"

MBA General Management (extra-occupational) at Munich Business School: Content

The MBA General Management is a part-time program divided into three terms plus time for the Master Thesis over a period of 24 months. Each of the first three terms starts with an Intensive Week. After that, courses take place bi-weekly on Friday afternoons and Saturdays. This effective structure as well as two entry points with program starts in September and March allow students to complete their MBA degree without having to put professional careers on hold. Two International Weeks offer further insights into European and Asian business environments.

The MBA General Management program is designed for executive managers and future leaders. The idea is to provide them with an excellent foundation of general management knowledge and skills while at the same time giving them the opportunity to get further insights into two additional fields of study. By including both 'hard' knowledge and 'soft' skills into the program's curriculum, the MBA General Management equips students with a comprehensive toolbox that every modern leader should possess. Since the program attracts Germans and expats alike, participants also get the opportunity to build their own international network and hence have a clear professional advantage.
