MBA General Management (full-time) at Munich Business School: Profile

The MBA International Management program targets German and international candidates from all disciplines. It is designed to cement business foundations, solidifying the basis for international and multicultural work. Selection of two elective courses, an international focus combined with an international or practical immersion allows students to enhance knowledge regarding a specific topic, country or organization. Depending on their practical business experience, students may also be eligible for the 12-month Fast Track.

MBA General Management (full-time) at Munich Business School: Content

With its highly effective and compact 15-month modular structure, the full-time MBA International Management program allows for its completion in less than 1.5 years, minimizing the time students spend putting their professional careers on hold. In-class instruction during Terms 1 and 2 cover topics from the three major modules: Business & Management Knowledge, Executive & Leadership Skills, and International Business Environment. Additionally, students opt for one elective course in Term 1 and one in Term 2. Choices are:

  • Term 1: "Management in Emerging Markets" or "Digital Business Transformation"
  • Term 2: "Social Entrepreneurship" or "Global Supply Chain Management"

In Term 3, MBA students can choose between two individual immersions:

  • 1 semester abroad at one of over 45 partner universities
  • Internship + 1 International Week

Finally, students demonstrate their acquired skills with their Master Thesis. The topic will be chosen in collaboration with a company.

Our MBA International Management program is designed for developing managers and future leaders. The idea is to provide students with an excellent foundation of International Management knowledge and skills while at the same time providing them with the opportunity to specialize in a regional market.
